My name is Val, owner and operator of Gudzen LLC. My construction journey began in 2003 as a flooring installer. I followed in my fathers footsteps who also was a wood flooring craftsman in Batumi, Georgia just across the Black Sea, where I was born in Poltava, Ukraine. In 2005 I decided to venture out and became an independent flooring contractor specializing in hardwood floor installation and finishing. My interest for the construction and remodeling industry came from my love of handcrafting and building. I took pride in my work and saw it as a craft at the same time I was able to provide a service that brought new life to a home.
Over the years my skillsets increased and evolved into finish carpentry, cabinetry, tile installation, painting and other various home renovation skill assets.
After about 13 years of focusing on hardwood flooring, I realized that as my skillsets grew and evolved, so did my desire to offer other services which allowed me to broaden and expand my business into full home renovations. Combined with my wife’s great sense of style for interior design and an eye for detail, we have had great success remodeling investment homes and creating unique living spaces for satisfied customers.
